Fried Apple

Fried apples are a blend of sweet and savory, which makes them perfect as a filling for desserts. As far as apple recipes go, fried apples are very straightforward and good for beginners.

There are so many ways to enjoy these fried apples! They can go with breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Just use a cast-iron skillet for this recipe as it distributes the heat more evenly. However, a non-stick skillet will work as well.



  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; stir sugar and cinnamon into the hot butter.
  • Add apples and cook until apples begin to break down, 5 to 8 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy.
